Terms of Service

Last updated 19 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Bookeze (the "Service"), operated by Bookeze Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. If you're using Bookeze on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to bind that business.

1. What Bookeze is

Bookeze is a booking platform. Businesses use it to manage their calendar, services, staff and customers and to take bookings online. Customers use it to find businesses and book appointments with them. Bookeze is the platform — it is not a party to the appointment itself. The contract for the service you book (the haircut, the boiler repair) is between you and the business.

2. Accounts

  • You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Businesses must be legally entitled to offer the services they list and must hold any licences, insurance or accreditations they claim. Claiming an accreditation you don't hold is a breach of these terms and may be unlawful.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts or listings that break these terms, the law, or that receive serious or repeated complaints.

3. Bookings, cancellations and no-shows

  • Each business sets its own booking policies (notice required, cancellation window, cancellation and no-show charges). These are shown before you confirm a booking and form part of your agreement with that business.
  • Businesses may cancel or move bookings; they should tell you as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Quotes provided through Bookeze are offers from the business; accepting a quote creates a booking on the terms stated in it.
  • Unless stated otherwise, payment is made directly to the business at the venue or as the business specifies.
  • Payments. Bookeze does not currently collect payments or deposits from customers — you pay the business directly. If upfront deposits are introduced in future, they would be collected through our payment provider, Stripe, with the refund terms shown clearly before you pay; any deposit taken through Bookeze in the past is refundable in full where the booking was cancelled in time. Card details never touch Bookeze's servers.

4. Reviews

Reviews can only be left by customers with a completed booking. They must be honest and about your own experience. We don't edit reviews; we may remove reviews that are abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, unrelated to the booking, or that we reasonably believe to be fake. Businesses may reply publicly to reviews.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Bookeze to do anything unlawful; to harass, threaten or discriminate; to scrape or copy data; to make fake bookings or reviews; to interfere with the Service; or to circumvent security. Businesses must not use customer data obtained through Bookeze for anything other than serving that customer's booking and their legitimate relationship with them, in line with data-protection law.

6. Business subscriptions and fees

Where fees apply they'll be set out clearly before you commit, including any trial, price changes (with notice) and how to cancel. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be managed or cancelled any time from Settings. Our fees currently carry no VAT; if VAT becomes chargeable in future it will be clearly stated before you commit.

7. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of content you upload (logos, photos, descriptions) and give us a licence to display it on the Service and in marketing the Service, for as long as it's on your listing. Don't upload content you don't have the rights to. The Bookeze name, software and design belong to us.

8. Availability and liability

  • We work hard to keep Bookeze available and accurate but can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
  • We're not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of services provided by businesses, or for a business or customer failing to honour a booking.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you've paid none).

9. Ending things

You can close your account at any time from your account or dashboard. We can end or suspend your access if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (liability, IP, data) do.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here and, for material changes, let you know. Continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: info@bookeze.co.uk.
